Abdomen, one view

Clinical history: Postprandial and early morning abdominal pain.

Findings: Supine abdominal radiograph is compared to a supine abdominal radiograph acquired 1/25/2013. There is a mild prominence of formed stool uniformly throughout the colon and mildly distending the rectal vault. The soft tissues of the abdomen are normal. The included lung bases are clear.

Impression: Mild prominence of stool uniformly throughout the colon and rectal vault.

EXAMINATION: ABDOMEN RADIOGRAPH

Clinical History: Abdominal pain.

Technique: AP supine image abdomen and pelvis.

Comparison: 9/20/2016.

FINDINGS:
The bowel gas pattern is normal. There is mild prominence of stool in the right colon and transverse colon.

There are no findings of organomegaly or a soft tissue mass. There is no bladder distention. There are no discernible biliary or urinary calculi.

There is no evidence of an acute osseous abnormality. The portions of the lung bases included in the field-of-view are clear.

IMPRESSION: Mild prominence of stool in the ascending and transverse segments of the colon. Otherwise normal examination.
